FIS 6.8 is the most restrictive safety certification. The Briko "PROTETTO" patented system is an additional ABS shell that can absorb shocks and increase safety. The position increases shock absorption in the neck area most commonly affected in the event of a fall. In 2014, Vulcano FIS 6.8 was awarded an ISPO Award in the Ski Helmets category and was selected for the annual ADI INDEX publication, competing in this way with the Compasso d'Oro selection.
